President's Update

As the Nova Scotia Gerontological Nurses Association turns 30, it’s important to reflect on our past, as we try to prepare for our future. We owe much to those who have come before us, whether we’re speaking of NSGNA members, nurses, family, history makers, musicians, artists, or others. However, we cannot minimize the ability that each of us has to make a difference today and in the future for our profession, our family, friends, or gerontological nursing. Never underestimate the power of one, in addition to the power of many. The power of one, if fearless and focused, is formidable, but the power of many working together is better.” - Gloria Macapagal Arroyo
